Spanish-Russian Higher Musical School is a training center, which offers excellent professional musical education, where teaching of a number of musical professions, such as piano, violin, violoncello, clarinet, flute and vocal is conducted. The teaching is conducted according to the Russian musical educational system, which has been adjusted to the new Spanish plan LOGSE by the professorial-teaching staff of the MSOPU after M.A. Scholokhov.

Spanish-Russian Higher Musical School is a higher musical educational establishment, which was formed following the joining of Bologna Declaration on Education by Russia . The school offers a new form of international higher education with 4 year training in Baccalaureate and 2 year training in Magistracy. The diploma of the bachelor of Musical Arts of MSOPU after M.A. Scholokhov with the qualifications of “Teacher of Instrument", "Soloist" and "Concertmaster" (for pianists) is being provided upon graduation from the baccalaureate. The successful completion of magistracy course leads to the Diploma of the Master of Musical Arts of the MSOPU after M.A. Scholokhov with the qualifications of “Soloist", "Teacher of Instrument" and "Concertmaster" (for pianists). These diplomas do not need to be confirmed/endorsed by the Ministry of Education of Spain.

Spanish-Russian Higher Musical School will be the first branch of MSOPU named after M.A. Scholokhov in Europe and will not have a similar one among musical schools of the same category in Galicia and Spain.
